2nd Albury Scouts Term Program

Term 1 2018

Jamboree Information night

Parents and scouts that are definitely interested or maybe interested or just need to know more to make a decision should attend the Jamboree meeting.  We will also have some scouts that went to the last Jamboree to talk about their experiences.

The meeting will outline minimum badgework and camping experience required as a prerequisite for Jamboree

Fundraising targets will also be discussed

Bike & Hike Combination

Scouts will head off from the hall in two parties.  One group on bikes and and group on foot.  The groups will travel north-east along the Albury-Thurgoona Bike Trail for a period of time.  The learning will be how far a group can walk and ride in a given time - a key piece of knowledge for planning walking and bike hikes

Patrol Challenge Night

Thursday 22nd February and Thursday 15th march.  On the planning night patrols will plan what their patrol will do on the Patrol Challenge night.  Some patrols may remain at the hall on the Patrol Challenge Night (15th March) others may be at other locations (appropriate notes will go home/be on Care Monkey) after the planning night
